The kitchen and toilet extension for the church is now complete and has been blessed by the Bishop of Thetford on Sunday 14th September 2014. The Church now can offer hot drinks, hold community and cultural events, and mount exhibitions for walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers and visitors of all kinds.
The area near the big tapestry will be turned into social space shortly (click here for more information) and the new facilities will be accessed through the existing, curtained door. The new part will be also be accessible from outside via a path suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
