A group of local people have recently formed The Friends of Surlingham church with the aim of supporting the church as a community venue and a historic building. The Friends will encourage local organisations and groups to use the building for secular actives, and provide physical and financial help to maintain the building for this purpose.
Those who already contribute their time or money or both in this way will already be included in a register of Friends. However if you would like to support the secular use of the church in this way, please phone Pat Scowen on 538791 or send your details using CONTACT us on this web site. This carries no obligation to do anything, although it is hoped that the Friends will be a core group of people who like to informed directly about Friends’ projects and social events and a ‘first call’ for help with these when it is needed.
