Many villagers will have seen the rowing crews of all ages from Norwich Rowing Club coming up to the Ferry or Riverscourt, sometimes much further.  I am a committed rower and coach at the club as well as a resident.  The Club also has a crew of four ladies from the village, who are planning to race at national events – and they only started at Easter!

We are always pleased to give everyone the chance to have a go at rowing, and we also are particularly keen to attract confident noisy people as coxes – the most important person in the boat!   Please get in touch if you would like to try rowing or coxing. There are no age/ability/fitness/experience restrictions.   Perhaps we can get a Surlingham eight at Henley next year?
