A reminder that Saturday 14th is Coldham Hall Sailing Club’s Yare Navigation Race, one of the premier sailing races on the Broads calendar. Come along to watch the boats setting off in the morning, or perhaps travel to Reedham Ferry or Hardley Mill for excellent views of these stunning classic sailing cruisers. Boats will be leaving Coldham Hall from 8.00am, but exact departure times vary as each boat tries to guess the start time that will make for the fastest passage. Some may still be seen departing in the late morning. For late risers, an alternative would be to spend the late afternoon relaxing in the pub grounds to watch the spectacle of the boats returning up Train Reach – a photographer’s dream.
