Very sadly, Albert has been found, hit by a car. Our hearts go out to the Malam family.
Jo Mallam has written the following, a message for anyone who drives in the village. Please take the time to read it.

Jo says:
Could I ask that people slow down on Mill Road. People drive far too fast along our road and many of use wave at them to slow down every day. It may be that Albert’s short life didn’t need to end and we, including our two boys aged 6 and 5, didn’t have to lose our beloved pet if someone had been sticking to the speed limit. Even if wasn’t someone from the village, it would be a worthy reminder that speeding can cause such upset and loss. I wish there were more signs or speed bumps. There are a lot of us with small children along here and we are constantly aware of their safety too.
