Just a quick not the fish van is back tomorrow Thurs 7th Sept 2023. Perfectly in time for culinary delights this weekend, now that we have been blessed with some sunshine.
Our 2x packs of frozen mince are going really well and wont be there for too much longer so do grab whilst you can. (We are well aware we say this every week so the irony is not lost). We just have quite a bit in the freezer as this is usually the last cut of the animal people always want. However when it comes to the farm shop we have one animal at a time which is a lot of meat and we aim to sell through all the meat before getting the next one in. There are only so many prime steak cuts per carcass. Plus, many of the off cuts and parts we don’t know about or use about are just as and if not sometimes more delicious. We all know about the versatility of mince, but what about the amazing stewing and chuck cuts. Slow cooked they are absolutely incredible. We also have some of these in the freezer and are must tries.
Anyways, enough mumblings. There are lots of goodies in the farm shop, fish van here tomorrow as per and the sun in shining.
