A group of local people has recently got together to form a new ‘Friends of Surlingham church’ to encourage use of the church by the local community and as a historic building.

The Friends would like to invite you to an open afternoon on Saturday May 6th any time between 2.30pm and 4pm for tea/coffee and cakes and to see what has happened to the church building in recent years.  The church now has a social area and modern kitchen and toilet facilities, so is a useful space for classes, exhibitions, plays and concerts.

Everyone is welcome – all the more if you haven’t visited the church for a while – or ever.
