Q: Why shouldn’t you tell a secret on a farm?  A: Because the potatoes have eyes and the corn has ears.

I know… Corny ay… Boom Boom!

Well, the kids are all back to school and you can relax… although they do still need to be fed and most of you will still have to go out and work. So it is not all as easy and fun and relaxed now as we make out. Some of you may even be lucky enough not to have children.

However simply swing by the shop and pick up some wonderful delights and wash all those worries away. It would most probably be called a lie if we claimed a small shop hidden in the Norfolk countryside, full of delicious gems could be the answer to all life’s mysteries, but I am going to go ahead to say it anyways. You cant catch me, this is the internet after all. I could be writing this from a warm tropical beach. (But I am not, I am at the farm, just dont tell you that, so you dont know where I am…)

Even I am getting confused now. Enough flapping and more about the food. In this week we have some of the farm reared in beef (see picture) and it is just as delicious as ever. Steaks, stewing beef for those more wintery dishes and slow cookings, mince (think cottage pie and even homemade burgers), joints for those sundays roasts, beef sausages and more. We have fish, pork, chicken too and lots of veg just in. Sweetcorn. 4 minutes in its natural husk in the microwave and you have a delicious healthy quick snack.
Dont forget our 12.5kg bags of unwashed potatoes. They are only £4 a bag and are now ready and waiting in the shop for you as we have begun harvesting them.
Butternut squash, kale, spinach, cabbages, cheese, butter, drinks, chocolate, free wifi and if we see you, we might even smile at you… if you are lucky!

Pop on in every single day including bank holidays and weekends 8am-9pm.

Have a wonderful weekend all.
