Surlingham Remembers

The preparations at the Parish Hall for Surlingham’s comemmoration of WW1 are under way. We have our own field of poppies, WW1 memorabilia and more

Don’t forget if you had a relative who died in WW1 write their name on the poppy wreath and either bring it to St Mary’s Church Sunday morning, before the 10:50 a.m. service of rememberance or to the Parish Hall from 5:30 p.m.

(there will be extra wreaths at the Parish Hall incase you need more)

You will need to be at the hall by 6:30 p.m at the latest for the Beacon of Light ceremony at 7:00p.m.

Complimentary refreshments will be available from 5:30 p.m.

Donations to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal are most welcome

Thank You
