Doing the Bossel competition between teams from Bramerton, Rockland St. Mary and Surlingham. Young and old were setting off at 11am on a sunny but blustery day, accompanied by the two Rufu’s our ba
ll dogs, the teams soon got into their stride, some had watched the video published previously. Click here to see it.
Others did not, still they soon got into the swing of it with Ingo’s home turned wooden bossel. The ball dogs came to the res
cue twice as they retrieved the bossel balls from the thicket of a hedge. Ending with a grand chicken curry and beef stew at the ferry pub, everyone vowed to revenge the winning team Bram
erton in a re-match this summer. If you like to take part watch for the announcement here. It is rumoured that the winners prize, a box of chocolate sponsored by Rockland St. mary post office, did not make it home to Bramerton.
