At Surlingham Church. All welcome for a half hour service of meditation and prayer.
Congratulations and many thanks to everyone involved in this yearsVillage Fayre. Special thanks to the residents of Padmaloka who made everyone so welcome. It’s events like these that help build and maintain the village community we are privileged to enjoy here in Surlingham.
By kind permission; attached is a link to an excellent short YouTube montage of photos and video from yesterday’s Fayre by Kusalamati/Dave Blakemeore. It does a very good job of capturing the spirit of the day. Click here to view the video.
Don’t forget Messy Church in Surlingham Church. Monday 3rd September at 1:30PM to 3PM.
The good weather has been arranged, all we need now is for you to turn up and have fun…
There are going to be a wide variety of stalls and attractions at this years Fayre and we’re still really keen to receive any cracked, chipped, or otherwise unwanted crockery for the smash a plate stall. Perhaps you have some spare plants or maybe you’ve a glut of salads or vegetables that we could sell on the plant and produce stall – all donations will be gratefully received.
And, as ever, we will need cakes for the cake stall so, if anyone has time to make a cake, it too would be much appreciated.
To anyone who can donate any items for the Fayre, please accept a big thank you from the Fayre Committee. Any of the above items would be welcomed with open arms by Barbara Rix, Phyl Gladwell, or Sue Driver if donated before the event, or cakes and produce on the day direct to the stall.
