Thanks for registering and in doing so supporting this new initiative. We promise not to bombard you with unnecessary emails in future but the website will only become an effective means of communication if lots of people ‘follow’. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE encourage friends and relatives who are local to ‘follow’ too. Many thanks.

All welcome for a coffee and cake in aid of Christian aid at 49 The Green anytime from 10AM until 12 Noon this saturday. This event replaces the usual door-to-door collection so if you can’t make it but would like to make a donation envelopes are available from 49 The Green.

The dates this year will be the 14th to 19th May.  A Coffee Morning will be held at 49 The Green on Saturday 19th May from 10AM until 12 Noon; all welcome.  If you are unable to make this date but would like to make a donation, envelopes will be available at this address.  This event replaces the usual door-to-door collection.

Not on the 18th June as that date clashed with another event.  Apologies for the date given in the last Surlingham newsletter.  The venue this year will be The Street and The Covey.  Look out for posters and further information.

The bells of St Mary’s Church will be rung, as part of a notional peel of bells, before a service of celebration and thanksgiving for the Queen’s reign at 3PM.  At 4 PM there will be a village tea party.
