Bergh Apton Mystery Plays

Tickets are still available for Bergh Apton’s Mystery Play Cycle “Legend Of The Rood,” written by storyteller Hugh Lupton with David Farmer directing our community of actors & musicians from Bergh Apton and 11 neighbouring villages.

It is going to be a great outdoor community event with a sequence of four plays in different leafy areas of Bergh Apton, with wandering minstrels of musicians & cast members leading the audience between each location and many chances for audience involvement.

Bring a picnic at 12:30 to eat in the “Garden Of Eden” before performances commence. There will be a break between the second and third plays where refreshments will be available.

There will be three performances, on Saturday 24th May, Sunday 1st June and Sunday 8th June, running from 13:30 to approximately 18:00.
