South Norfolk District Council would like to tell you about a drive to help Parishes remain clean & tidy and encourage community participation, they are looking for councils, community centres or groups to act as hubs for the provision of litter picking equipment throughout South Norfolk.
Please see the link to the document for more information. Essentially it would involve storing a small supply of equipment that is available for groups to borrow without having to travel to South Norfolk Council to pick them up. litter pick equipment hub
On a separate but related note , South Norfolk have received some grant money to allow community groups to have their own equipment – up to £200 worth of equipment can be claimed free of charge – please see the link for the application form. Litter Pick equipment grant application
If you have any questions regarding either of these ideas, please let me know.
Kind regards
