(surlingham) (EMERGENCY NOTICE)

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION 2020

Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 – Section 14(2)

In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to Anglian Water repairs to a burst water main the use by vehicles of the C195 Bramerton Road from its junction with the U78112 Cross Lane southwards for a distance of 30 metres in the PARISH OF SURLINGHAM will be temporarily prohibited from 20th April 2020 to 24th April 2020 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 5 days within the period. If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 21 days.

Alternative route is via: Bramerton Road, Walnut Hill, School Lane, Mill Road, Surlingham Lane, The Street, Rookery Hill, Bramerton Lane, Rockland Road, The Street, Surlingham Lane (Rockland St. Mary/ Surlingham/ Bramerton).

(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order)

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
