It is with great sadness that we have to inform you all that Sylvia has taken a turn for the worst and is slowly deteriorating.
She is comfortable at present and has her family around her.
We know she has many friends who used to visit her while she was in the shop and she has been a big part of the community.
It’s so lovely how many people have asked after her when we have been out and about in the village.
We will keep you all updated on her condition.

Always a pleasure to see Sylvia in the shop. She always had a treat for ‘her little friend’ our dog Hector, who still wants to go in to the shop to see Sylvia.
Love to Sylvia and her family.

Dear Carla
We are very sad to hear of Sylvia’s decline. We would like Sylvia, you and your family to know we are thinking of you all and send our love and best wishes. She is an amazing lady, who has worked so hard for us all in the village over the years, so glad she has you all with her.
