Thank you to everyone involved in the events at St Mary’s Church over the Jubilee weekend. Nearly £1000 was raised from donations and tea & cake sales 😊

The flowers were stunning, the knitted street party extraordinary, the cakes scrummy and the number of visitors exceptional; some visitors even came from as far away as Ely and Luton after seeing our Church on the BBC News!

We only need another £56,000 to undertake the more immediate work and a further £120,000 within a year! 😞

Our beautiful Church provides a place for celebration and reflection that most of us will use at some point in our lives. Perhaps you don’t often attend but would still like to help support it as a community venue and an historic building.

Funding applications to the National Lottery Heritage fund and others are currently being produced. We have many professionals in our village with skills in administration, marketing, publicity, bid writing, legal work and project management etc. The PCC would be delighted if you could help us in this project.
