Advent has truly arrived, and we’re looking forward to the services and events of the coming weeks.
On Sunday (7th) there’s 9.30am Communion at Claxton and Cafe Church with an Advent theme from 10.30am to 12 Noon in Rockland Parish Room. Rockland Church and The Barn will be open from 10.30am-4pm for this year’s Christmas Tree Festival, with refreshments and stalls in The Barn. Every year brings something new, and all proceeds go to St. Mary’s Church and Star Throwers charity.

On Wednesday (10th) Art Cafe in The Barn is open from 10.30am-12.30pm mainly for pre-Christmas fun! There’s plenty of art and craft materials available, or bring something of your own.
The following Sunday (14th) sees 11am Communion at Surlingham and the first of our Carol Services at 3.30pm Bramerton, 5pm Kirby Bedon and 5pm Rockland.
At Rockland Come and See will be launched – an almost life-size nativity scene that you can feel part of, open daily from 9am-7pm. More details to follow.
Christmas Warm Welcome on the 15th marks the coming of Christmas with a festive feel, special food and afterward the opportunity to stay on for Peaceful Christmas – a quiet time with carols and readings. The Barn will be open until 3pm.
Please feel free to contact me if you’d like to know more.
With all good wishes,
Rev Nick Garrard
