The Community Action Group and the Rockland and Hellington Community Reserve have organised two events linked to the National Campaign for Drawing. http://www.thebigdraw.org
The workshops will give everyone whatever their age or level of experience an opportunity to enjoy the process of drawing and painting out of doors. We will be observing aspects of the landscape around us and using a variety of materials to draw what we see.
The events are free and open to all.
Materials and beverages will be provided.
Please contact Hatty Halstead 01508 538952, 07717756816 for more information and bookings.

FOSS are organising a collection of old clothes, shoes etc for re-use through the Bag2School company. Bag2School will pay FOSS by weight of material collected so if you have any old clothes which you would like to get rid of this is a great way to help raise funds for your local school at the same time!
Bag2School will pick up all collected items from school on Tuesday 13th October. Items can be delivered to school in any bags on Monday (in school hours) or Tuesday morning (by 9am please).
The following items can be included in your bags :
Adult and children’s clothes, paired shoes, hats, belts, handbags, ties, soft toys
NO curtains, towels or bedding please.
If you have items to donate but would struggle to get them to school please call Victoria Wright on 01508 538132 and we will arrange for someone to pop round and collect them.
Many Thanks,
FOSS!
