Sunbeams Preschool urgently needs help.

Sunbeams is a charity run by volunteers.  The chairperson is standing down as of September, and unless someone steps forward to take the role on this thriving preschool will have to close.

Could you spare a few hours a week to help run this school?  No previous experience necessary.  The current chair can stay on as an active vice for support, but due to work and family commitments can no longer carry out the full role.

If you would like to discuss this please call Chrissie Ryding: 01508 538 603

Please can you pass on huge thanks to all the organisers of the excellent Jubilee tea-party – a marvellous and memorable occasion despite the weather. Well done and thank you!

The diversion of the school bus from the Green ( so children to go to Mill road) will now start on June 11th and NOT next week ( 28th) as the children were told originally. ( Info from People Movers 5pm 24th May). Driver should tell the children tomorrow ( Fri 25th).

Since The Green will be closed between 11th June and 13th July due to road works, the bus will not be able to pass down its normal route.  Anglian Bus have indicated that the alternate route will take the 001 service around Pratts Hill and Walnut Hill.  Anglian Bus will release a statement in due course.
