Persimmon’s Charitable Foundation may be able to help your group.

These are very difficult times and as local communities take action to contain the outbreak of Covid- 19, Persimmon Homes is keenly aware that the charity sector is experiencing particular hardship.

With this in mind, we wanted to share details of two amazing charity schemes that Persimmon’s Charitable Foundation is actively operating, which will see millions of pounds handed out to groups supporting specifically the under-18s and people aged over 70.

8848 Communications is administering Persimmon’s CSR programme and we work closely with them to publicise the schemes and attract as many applications as possible.

Building Futures

As part of its sponsorship of Team GB, Persimmon will donate more than £1 million to support children in sport, health and education through its Building Futures scheme.

We are calling on local groups within your area which support under-18s to apply. It can all be done online remotely here.

Community Champions

Persimmon’s Community Champions initiative has run since 2015 and gives away £64,000 every month across Britain in donations up to the value of £1,000. So far over £3.5 million has been donated through this scheme.

Persimmon decided that from April 2020 all funding will go directly to groups supporting the over 70s.
