Join the premier league fantasy football league “Surlingham ballers” for a chance to win a signed NCFC shirt. (League Winner)
Entry £10 per team, all monies go to Friends of Surlingham School, to support the children of Surlingham school.
Once paid, the league code will be provided to join in.
The season starts 15th August, so there is plenty of time to pick your team.

This two day event at the village hall displays the work of 7 artists from Surlingham. There will also be some craft stalls.
Everyone is welcome to come and have a chat with the artists & a cup of tea and slice of cake! Just drop in!

Wildlife Safari at Wheatfen, August 16: 9:30am – 12am and 1pm – 3:30 pm.
Become a nature detective and discover the wonders of Wheatfen by taking a walk along our nature trail where you can participate in pond dipping, mini-beast hunting, and much more! All children must be accompanied by an adult.

First, may I offer thanks to everyone who supported the Rectory BBQ, which raised £147 for Priscilla Bacon Hospice.
Tomorrow’s services (3rd) are 9.30am Communion at Claxton and 11am Communion at Bramerton. Please note that Church Lane is closed between Claxton Corner and St. Andrew’s, so access will be from Ashby Road.
Tomorrow is also the second day of ‘Celebrations’, Carleton St. Peter’s Flower Festival. Come along between 10.30am and 4.30pm for creative arrangements, refreshments and stalls in aid of St. Peter’s.
Helen and I are away from Aug 7th-23rd. For any urgent pastoral matters during this time please contact Mandy.
August 15th sees the 80th anniversary of VJ day. There will be a national silence at 12 Noon.
