Fresh Beef in this week!

Fresh Beef in this Week!

You would not believe the amount of people the last month or two I have grabbed, said ‘what’s that big yellow shiny thing in the sky… I just don’t think I have seen it before’ when we have an ever so slightly less cloudy day and them not know I am talking about the sun. Either my terrible humour just goes over people’s heads or they in fact do not actually recognise the sun anymore. Both are believable. With the inevitable cliché and predictable British weather talk aside, lets get on to the amazing news we have this week.

Our farm reared rare breed grass fed Belted Galloway (Americans call them Oreo cows) will be in the shop for you to purchase this Friday 28/02/25. There will be a range of cuts as usual including wonderful steaks, joints and more. We will also be doing our best to offer the amazing offer of £6.50 for 2x packs of mince and/or chuck/stewing steak of your choice. This offer has been so popular so far this year so be sure not to miss out. Just look for the offer and price on the stand up freezer as you go in.

The last of our farm grown spuds are also now in the shop in front of the veg stand. They are 12.5kg of beautiful unwashed (just like me) desiree potatoes for all round use and good for everything (unlike me). For just £6 be sure not to miss out.
We have had a bit of a sort around in the shop and revamp so looks a bit tidier with more space and stackable shelving. Do try the new Chai tea we have in as well as restocked frozen pizzas, frozen fish and chicken in the chest freezer. Marsh Pig Charcuterie will be in soon too. Hopefully will be getting in some more game soon for the freezer as this just flew out the last couple of months. Eggs, cheese, choccies, icecream, bickies, crisps etc are stacked up and our lucky dip area is now clearer to see and grab from as well as the reduced baskets if you like a good bargain.

Alec is here at the fish van tomorrow Thurs 27th as per from 1:30pm until 2:30pm for a short but sweet display of incredible fishies. Just outside the shop as usual.

Teles Patisserie are well worth checking out as they have lots going on from their Winter Warmers, breakfasts, sweet and savoury treats and now even traditional Sunday Dinners that you have to check out!

Whether out on a walk, cycle, drive or fly… do pop in to see us all. The pool is also proving very popular if you like a nice dip and a paddle. Available to book in half hour slots for you and your friends and family to have all to yourselves. Just visit: https://yarevalley.com/pool/ or email: Info@surlinghamtimesharepool.co.uk or call: 01508 538206.

Have a super week all
