What’s happening in Church next week…….

Sunday 22nd at 4pm: Carol Service

Wednesday Christmas Day 25th at 11am: Holy Communion

I hate to raise that old chestnut, yes you are ahead of me again…………….dog poo!

It seems some owners have a habit of picking up after their four legged friend and leave the bag on the verge to collect when they return from their circular walk. That is great thank you.

But yes, you guessed it they then wander off, in a different direction and never come back  to collect their ‘deposit’ to either carry home or to the nearest dog poo bin.

There can not be many things worse than having dog poo on the wheels of a child’s buggy or bike going into the house.

It is quite costly to provide the three dog bins and have them serviced once a week, let’s make sure we get your money’s worth.

NCC Budget, the Fire and Rescue Plan Consultation, download the app ‘what3words’, help with heating and keeping healthy during the Winter, transport for Norwich have installed ‘Beryl’ bikes for a pay as you go service within the city and information on the latest scams.

I hope you will stay behind at the end of the service as we will have mince pies, sausage rolls, and other tasty treats with tea, coffee, hot chocolate or squash as you prefer.

Winter 2019.20 – stakeholder briefing

Message sent on behalf of Mr Peter Evans, Chairman of Norfolk Neighbourhood Watch:

Our next Norfolk Neighbourhood Watch meeting will be taking place on Thursday 9th January 2020 at Breckland Council Offices, Elizabeth House, Walpole Loke, Dereham, NR19 1EE.

All coordinators, members and anybody who would like to set up a new scheme are invited to attend.

Tea and coffee available from 7:00pm for a 7:30pm start.

We hope to see you there.

As usual we will have special opening times for this jolly and happy season as we want to make sure that everyone can come down and treat themselves! Lots of cakes will be available to take away from Saturday 21st to Tuesday 24th.
Só opening hours will be as follows:
Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday – 10.00 to 4.00
Closed Xmas Day
Boxing Day – open from 10.00 to 4.00

Normal opening times resume on the 27th December.
