There was barely standing room left at the church carol service on Sunday. It was a lovely community event with contributions from all generations. Thanks to those who worked behind the scenes to make it happen.

Time to hunt out your Christmas jumpers and don’t forget to bring your singing voices to this year’s Carol Service.
Guest appearances this year from the ‘Church Handbell Ringers’ and John & Christine Glynn.
Refreshments including mince pies and sausage rolls afterwards.

There was a really good turnout despite the drizzle for carol singing in Rockland. We started outside and then went indoors to dry off, have some refreshments and sing some more.

Thanks to Jayne and Jenny for organising.
Everyone welcome.
Moving to The Parish room for refreshments afterwards.

The Church Clangers!
The Parish Council would like to let the village know Surlingham Village Hall is being redecorated over the Christmas break.
The council believes the new colours, green and cream, chosen will give the hall a lovely freshen up.

Let’s join our friends in Rockland for a lovely seasonal event. All are welcome.
