STOP PRESS! The Coat of Hopes is in Surlingham tomorrow (22nd March)

It is a patchwork coat on an ongoing pilgrimage click here for more information.

It has been on show in Norwich for the last two weeks and will be be leaving for the next leg of the walk to Rockland St Mary, tomorrow 22nd March, leaving from St Peter Mancroft at 10.30 and reaching Surlingham somewhere around 2.30, roughly following the Wherryman’s way route.

Local people are invited to walk along with it when it leaves Rockland at the end of the morning service at Rockland church. See flyer for full details.

Community Orchard session – Sunday March 23

Our first work session on the orchard this year will be next Sunday- March 23 between 2 and 4 pm. If you’re joining us please bring gardening gloves as bramble clearance will be one of the tasks. Secateurs/lopers, forks/spades would also be useful. For more information please ring 538791

A lovely evening was spent at the Ferry House last night at an Irish themed quiz hosted by quiz-master Jack. Rounds included potato carving… of animals ..
