Freezer up and running in Farm Shop!

Just a quickie to say the stand up freezer in the farm shop is now back up and running after deciding to take a well earned vacation last week.
Back and reenergised the freezer is stocked to the brim again with lamb, burgers, beef, ready meals, chicken, duck, pork, pizzas and much much more!
Alec and his fish van will be back as usual for his regular Thursday slot outside the farm shop tomorrow 1:30pm until 3pm 13th June 2024. Be sure to pop along and see the wonderful array of sea creatures on offer. The shop is open as per inc banc hols and weekends 8am until 9pm!

We know the Juneuary meme is doing the rounds and we have to agree it is not living up to expectations, but we have everything to cover your needs. Except electric blankets. It was 32 degrees on this day last year. But on the bright side this time of year is wet and warm…ish, green, lush with the promise of Summer, so every cloud…

Whatever your needs, hot or cold, sweet or savoury, wet or wild, Teles Patisserie can meet your every need and are open 10am until 4pm every single day except Mondays.

From everyone at Yare Valley, whatever you are be it duck or human… have a wonderful week.

🙂

Rockland Benefice – Sunday Services in June

Good afternoon,

May I offer a big thank you to everyone who supported Christian Aid Week. £190.15 was raised, plus gift aid.

On Saturday the Bugs and Beasties display launch comes to Surlingham Church between 2pm and 4.30pm, with music, cards, refreshments and lots of creativity to look at!

On Sunday (9th) we celebrate a Benefice Communion at Surlingham (10am).

Celtic Prayer meets in Surlingham porch at 10am on Tuesday (11th) for words, prayers, stillness and plenty of birdsong!

The following Sunday (16th) sees Morning Worship at Claxton (9.30am) and Mattins at Kirby Bedon (11am). The bugs and beasties theme continues at 4pm in The Barn with Still with Insects. We will experience them as a vital part of creation in contemplative encounter.

With best wishes, Nick

Community Orchard – Sunday June 9

There’ll be a weeding session at the orchard on Sunday June 9 at 2.00pm. We’ll be focussed on knocking back weeds around the fruit trees and along the boundary. Secateurs, a spade/fork and gardening gloves would be useful. We’ll be working there between 2 and 4 pm and everyone’s welcome!
