Injured Fox

Had a fox in the garden – nothing unusual I know but it had recently been shot and I don’t like the thought of it being in pain and out their somewhere. It was last seen leaving the field behind Mill Road and The Green entering gardens about half way down the green. Can people keep an eye so if seen we can get it some help.

A reminder about the Village Festival (previously Fayre!) meeting next Monday

Just a reminder about the meeting to be held at the Ferry Inn next Monday 11th January, at 7.30pm, to discuss new ideas for the Village Summer Festival (previously known as the Summer Fayre!) and to find willing volunteers – men & women of all ages welcome! – to join the planning group, to help make this important community event a success in the future.

Since the original message was posted, we are delighted to say that Sonia from the Ferry Inn has volunteered to join the group! Thank you Sonia! We hope this will encourage you to come along and offer your ideas & skills, and get involved in this community group.

We look forward to seeing you there!
