Surlingham has a new book club
There was an excellent turnout last night at the first meeting of a new Surlingham book club.
However, anyone else, male or female, who would like to join us in future, would be very welcome. We decided to meet in members’ houses every six weeks or so, varying the evening between Monday to Thursday to give everyone a chance to come in spite of other commitments.
The next meeting will be on Thursday 14th May at 7pm, at The Knoll on Walnut Hill. The book we are reading, which we will talk at the meeting is, ‘Us’ by David Nicholls. (It is only about a fiver on Amazon.)
If you have any questions please do phone Di Smith on 538233 or email ‘Contact Us‘ on Surlingham.org.
