Hi Guys
With all this great weather we have had it has brought all the grapes on faster than expected, so we are at it again this week end. It will be the turn of the reds this week. Picking is arranged for both days so we can so we can get them all in as fast as we can now. I know some of you could not make last week due to other arrangements so please let me know if you can make either day this weekend.
The normal format will be in place food and drink provided with lots of wine!

A lot of people have expressed an interest in taking part in a harvest and some did not get chance to attend last year, that time is now approaching us the first open harvest day will be on the 4th (Bacchus) of October.
If anyone would like to take part please let me know so that I can get numbers together for the food in the evening. The plan for the day, start picking from 9 onwards then mid morning coffees and bacon rolls are provided then normally around 4.30 ish we head back to the winery to start the processing. Well, I start the processing you all get to enjoy some of last year’s wines and socialise with your fellow pickers whilst watching the wine making process. Then evening food is provided.

Sunbeams Preschool are doing a fundraiser collecting empty biscuit packets (yes the wrapper from around your choccy digestives). We need to collect as many as possible, with a big push between now and December because we will receive 4p for every wrapper we collect.
We need any sweet biscuit wrappers including those from individually wrapped bars like Penguins. Wrappers can be taken to the Pre-school or delivered to Thorne House, Ferry Road, Surlingham. Please leave bags on the door handle if there is no one in. All contributions welcome.
