Ascension Day and ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ Night Prayers

I hope you are keeping well.

We’re celebrating Ascension Day (Thurs 26th) with Communion in the Barn at 7.30am. You’re welcome to attend. This will also be livestreamed on youtube.com If you type Helen Garrard into the search panel, you will find her channel. just click on the service marked ‘live’ and you’ll be able to watch.

From the following day (Fri 27th) until the Eve of Pentecost (June 4th) we’re livestreaming Night prayer at 9pm each evening. You can watch this in the same way on Helen’s Youtube channel. The theme is ‘Thy Kingdom Come’, a worldwide ecumenical movement asking God to pour his Spirit upon our lives, our loved ones and his Church. Each night we will use Archbishop Justin’s reflection on part of the first letter of Peter. If you would like the accompanying booklet, please let us know.

Finally, a gentle reminder that assembly of Eleven Says will take place at Bergh Apton Village Hall on Sat 28th. All helpers welcome!

Best wishes, Nick
