Information on the Platinum Jubilee events across the County. A £7.7million package of hardship support offering increased flexibility and choice in the way a broader range of households can access help.

The council is topping up £6.7m of Government funding from the Household Support Fund with a further £1m to create a new Norfolk Cost of Living Support Scheme which will help people who are struggling to pay for food, energy and water bills, and other essentials.

As turnover was below £25,000 the Council is exempt from an external audit.

A good turn out for the school fete in spite of the weather. So lovely to see village events returning after all the lockdowns.

Thank you to everyone involved in the events at St Mary’s Church over the Jubilee weekend. Nearly £1000 was raised from donations and tea & cake sales 😊

The flowers were stunning, the knitted street party extraordinary, the cakes scrummy and the number of visitors exceptional; some visitors even came from as far away as Ely and Luton after seeing our Church on the BBC News!

We only need another £56,000 to undertake the more immediate work and a further £120,000 within a year! 😞

Our beautiful Church provides a place for celebration and reflection that most of us will use at some point in our lives. Perhaps you don’t often attend but would still like to help support it as a community venue and an historic building.

Funding applications to the National Lottery Heritage fund and others are currently being produced. We have many professionals in our village with skills in administration, marketing, publicity, bid writing, legal work and project management etc. The PCC would be delighted if you could help us in this project. Please help our village by offering some of your time to save St Mary’s for future generations to enjoy. Please contact Derry Kelleher 538597, or any member of the PCC.
