One for tea lovers…

… and people looking for gifts for tea lovers.

We’ve refreshed and restocked the Alderfen Marshes wild-tea shelves at the Yare Valley farm shop, including a new addition. As well as loose leaf wild-tea and eco-friendly teabags we’ve added ‘Bag and Brew’ to get the best of both worlds, loose leaf wild-tea with bags included separately.

Locally grown, completely natural and a nice little ‘secret santa’ gift for tea lovers or one to add to your Farm Shop hamper.

Speed Activated Monitor – Final call for volunteers

As a result of further correspondence concerning the SAM machine the Parish Council is making a final request for volunteers.

Following the previous post on 2 August 2021 only one volunteer came forward offering to help.

What was not made clear at the time was due to the size and weight of the machine including the battery. At least two people are required to move the machine safely.

If you would like to get involved with helping to reduce speeding in the village, manage the SAM machine ensuring its rotation in line with the Highways agreement, download data and provide reports to the Parish Council for publication on the website. Please email with your details.

In the event of not enough volunteers coming forward this time the Parish Council will be forced to decide on the future of the SAM machine.

Volunteers are needed to join the team to help compile the printed ElevenSays.

This takes about 90 to 120 minutes maximum, on the last Saturday morning of every other month, ie only 6 times a year. The more people in the team, the fewer times a year you will be needed 😊

If you can help and would like to join the team or would like to know more, please contact Clive Evans 538234. Thanks in anticipation
