Lent Group. This Thursday and the next 3 Thursdays
We’re meeting up with our friends in the Thurton part of the group for this year’s Lent course. This Thursday, we continue to follow Jesus in his journey through Lent to Holy Week as we look at the growing conflict that surrounded him. The meetings begin on Zoom at 7.30pm. Looking ahead, the 2021 World Day of Prayer Service is on Friday 5th March.

A Rockland resident has sent this for us to post regarding a group of men offering to do work in the area.

Four men in a pick up drove round behind our row of  bungalows this morning.  One of them knocked on my elderly neighbour’s back door and suggested she needed her tree cut back. I heard and went out and he left. They were seen by someone doing some gardening for me and two neighbours and they all said the men seemed to be looking around.The men were in a Silver Ford Thunder pick up, partial registration LX07. The father of one of my neighbours who was visiting his son knew them and spoke to them and told us that they weren’t people you would want around.Possibly they were genuine tree cutters, but I thought it best to alert local people.

Due to an emergency road closure service 85 will not be able to serve Ferry Road bus stop for 2 to 3 days. The bus will still serve The Pond and Coldham Hall Turn as normal. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you. (Info from Our Hire)

It’s Thursday again, which means the Fish Van will be set up outside the Farm Shop from 12-4.

First we’d like to thank you all for the incredible response and support over the weekend! We are just overwhelmed by how it all went! We can’t thank you enough!

This coming weekend we will see the return of our roasted cod as well as the usual option of rotisserie chicken (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

Mother’s Day is only one month away so we are already taking orders. So I forgot you fancy anything please place your order as soon as possible.
