Booking is essential for inside tables (phone 01508 538659), but you can just turn up if you want to sit outside.

As per the law, we are operating Table Service only.

Instructions on arrival:-

Bookings – Enter the pub by the river door wearing a mask.

Walk-ins –  Find a table number in the garden and make your presence known by coming to the river door. Return to your table and we will come to you. To check availability inside, again come to the river door.

Well time to tell everyone interested in participating on our annual dog photo shoot how to participate and get the chance to become the lucky one winning a £75.00 Xmas hamper!

So to be able to participate just read the simple guidelines:

• our official date is 11.10.2020;
• being a virtual market, we will need to do the photo shoot at the Patisserie by booking a time slot any day from 3rd of October until 10th of October;
• to book your time slot, please email us on info@telespatisserie.co.uk or message us on Facebook or Instagram;
• a confirmation email will be sent to you;
• on the time slot you will be given, we’ll take a picture of your dog(s);
• from the 11th of October until the 18th of October the photos will be up for voting on our Facebook;
• the dog that hits more likes wins a Xmas hamper worth £75.00 and will be crowned Teles Patisserie Most Handsome Dog!

And that’s it folks! Our Summer breaks finishes today! Not the best weather for our long awaited week off but never mind we are healthy and just slept and slept and slept!

So we are back tomorrow and as always we pay attention to all the updates on the government guidelines but this time we were already doing what the government required last week so nothing new when you come to us.

As you also know we started with our rotisserie chicken before our break and that was a success. It will be available again from this Wednesday onwards and the good news is that Fridays we will extend our opening times till 5.00 so if you want to pick up a bootiful chicken for tea time you can (just give us a ring on 01508538892).

Last but not least, our annual Dog Photo Shoot is happening again but this time virtually on the 11th of October. As you all are aware it’s our most popular event in the year só it had to be done but keeping in mind Covid. Guidelines on how to participate will be posted this Tuesday too.

Lots of news will come out throughout the week so stay tuned!

Dear All,
We hope your day is going well, and the recent bad weather is now behind us. This week’s face to face service is our Harvest Festival at Claxton Church at 10am. We thank God for the harvest, and for the farming community for all they do throughout the year. We are also supporting people who are going through times of hardship by bringing gifts of long-life food for Norwich Foodbank.

Next Sunday (4th October) sees the re-opening of Bramerton Church for worship as we celebrate Harvest there at 10am where there will also be another opportunity to donate to the Foodbank.

For the past four months now we have been running online retreats for Buddhists across UK and Europe, and sometimes the world, using the online conferencing tool ‘Zoom’, as well live-streaming on YouTube. They have been largely successful and have allowed us to continue to reach out to those practising Buddhism in our movement.

Starting this Friday we will be hosting a 6 day residential retreat, in which there will be 10 men physically coming on retreat here at Padmaloka. We’ve spent the last few weeks putting together a risk assessment as well as rigorous hygiene and distancing protocals to ensure that neither we nor the retreatants will pass on infections to one another. One of these protocols is that the the men coming on retreat here will not leave the premesis for the duration of the retreat, so they won’t be walking around the village as usual. They have also been asked to use private transportation where possible when coming to and from the retreat.

We have a programme of another 5 retreats similar to this coming up later in the year, each with a limit of 12 persons attending. We are closely monitoring the updates from the Government and will be adjusting our plans as necessary.
