Don’t forget to pop in Yare Valley Oils & Farm Shop as they have amazing local produce as well as their pesto, horseradish and the amazing rapeseed oil.

Oh and cake? You know where to find it inside Teles Patisserie along with excellent hot drinks!

Good morning all lovely Surlingham! Just a polite notice to say that after our short break we are back up and running tomorrow 9th October from 9.30 onwards!

And this Saturday we will receive a street food chef due to popular demand: the Greek God as many call him – Souvlaki Shack and his lovely wife will bring to our lovely village the true authentic Greek food! We will also have Churros & Chorizo with an amazing Spanish food selection and Heart Street Vegan for all of you who fancy or need something vegan or vegetarian!

Come down to see them anytime between 12.00 and 6.00!

A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the Fayre yesterday in Surlingham Church – our lovely helpers, cake and bread bakers, soup makers, craftswomen and artists…..and of course all the people who came along to chat, enjoy refreshments, and buy our wares.   We made £348 on the day which goes towards the Church repairs.

This Charity was set up in 1909 and modified by the Charity Act 2006 for the relief of financial hardship, either generally or individually of people living in the village of Surlingham.  The charity can provide facilities for recreation or other leisure occupation of individuals who have need by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship with the object of improving their conditions of life.
