Don’t forget it’s our Harvest Festival service at St Mary’s next Sunday 13th October.

Good morning everyone! November is approaching fast (I know it’s only October but we need to plan our lives don’t we?) so here is the events we will host in November:
– 9th November: Street Food Market;
– 10th November: St Martin’s Day (we will bring a traditional Portuguese harvest menu to celebrate this day);
– 17th November: our lovely Xmas fair that we are calling again “Spirit of Xmas” (this year even bigger and better than last year with 20 stalls booked in).
So make sure you write this on your diary!

Our baking masterclasses are also available from today until the end of the year on Wednesdays.

The Parish Council would appreciate any information regarding the private paddock on the corner of New Road.

The gate has been removed and the post damaged. Equipment for the installation of electric fencing; posts cables etc and stock barriers, have been left in the field.

Police have been informed as this is private land and the concern is that it is being occupied illegally.

With the gate removed and post damaged the field cannot be made secure.
