What’s happening this week…..

Our Mobile Library routes have undergone a revamp. With longer stops and Mobiles staying out later in the afternoon in many villages, we hope to see you after school and after work. Why not walk down in the sunshine to pick up some books, DVD‟s or simply to see what we have to offer? With 8-week loan periods and no overdue charges you‟d be silly not to jump on board!
This may mean your timetable has changed, but we‟re all in this together and we‟re excited to kick start April with better routes and better opportunities for our existing and new customers to visit us. We‟ll see you there!

All route timetables will be changing from the 1st April 2019.

When it comes to a delightful dawn chorus, there are few better than that over Surlingham Broad and surrounding marshes.

This May we are taking to the water in Canadian canoes every Wednesday morning to immerse ourselves in cheeps, tweets, warbles and booms (thank you Strumpshaw bitterns); we may even come across an elusive otter or two.

Paddling from Alderfen Marshes, drift through the winding waterways of Surlingham Broad, take in a stretch of the River Yare and return via the open water of Bargate to experience the best of our local waterways as the wildlife wakes.

6.00 – 7.30am: Wednesdays 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th May

£15.00 per person includes canoe, paddles and buoyancy aids. Children must be accompanied by an adult in every canoe.
