Motocross bike stolen in Saxlingham Nethergate

Police are appealing for information after a motocross bike was stolen in Saxlingham Nethergate. Some stables in the Pitts Hill area were broken into between 4pm on Tuesday 19 March and 1.30pm on Wednesday 20 March. A blue and white Yamaha PW50 motocross bike was stolen along with some horse feed. Anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area between the times stated, or anyone with information, should contact PC Stuart Sansbury at Wymondham Police Station on 101. Alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

Garden Obelisk – Willow Weaving Workshop
Sunday 7th April: 10.00am – 1.00pm
Alderfen Marshes

A practical willow weaving workshop making an attractive and useful Garden Obelisk from locally sourced willow; a natural support for climbing plants such as sweet peas and runner beans.

This workshop is a useful application of willow weaving for gardeners and nature lovers, with expert tuition from Jonathon Carrie of Norfolk Hedge Baskets. Small groups ensure plenty one to one support from Jonathon.
