Because we are in the most special time of the year, where love, friendship and family times precious, we are preparing a Festive Season at Teles Patisserie.

We have special Xmas cake options from around the world, mulled wine, excellent festive hot drinks and much more including our already well known soup or brunch.

Orders for Xmas are still available until this Thursday at 5.00.

And because we want to keep you warm and cosy, we will be open on Boxing Day from 10.00 to 5.00. So why not come along before or after your traditional walk to ours and enjoy even more?

And for new year we will have again Anna, our manicurist, on Sunday 30th. So be quick to book another appointment with her.

The Norfolk Local Access Forum is seeking new members. Please could you promote the recruitment in your capacity as parish clerk, to your local community.

The Norfolk Local Access Forum is comprised of up to 22 people covering a range of interests in countryside access in Norfolk, including walking; cycling; horse riding; landowners; conservation; other interests (including health, tourism, business, access for all, heritage, education).  The Forum provides independent advice to a number of organisations including Norfolk County Council on improving access to land in Norfolk.

We are looking for enthusiastic and proactive people with a passion for the outdoors with good communication skills to fill 5 vacancies on the Forum.  In particular we are keen to find new members from the following interest areas: landowners and managers, younger people (or those who can represent young people), equestrians and local business/tourism.

Here at the patisserie we are always looking for ways to bring different things to our lovely village.

This Sunday, the 16th, we are bringing a very special event for all the lovely ladies out there. A day that’s thought for you to treat yourself just before Christmas.

We will have an amazing Manicurist, Anna Kobialka, owner of Dream Nails, to pamper you with amazing nail art. In our open barn we will host a very intimate cosy shopping area where you can get that very special gift very lady like from some amazing crafters and artists. You can get anything from clothes to jewellery.

At the same time, in the patisserie we will have all things Xmas from drinks to cakes to traditional food.

Calling all parents of pre-school children – Tiny Acorns woodland toddler group is on from 10-12 at Wheatfen today and Friday. Why not join us for some woodland play and festive elevenses around the campfire? We will be making decorative string for wrapping presents using Nordic weaving, crafting gnomes from clay and sheep’s wool, and making mini evergreen wreaths to decorate our homes. If you’re not feeling christmasssy yet / are sick of christmas already, there are lots of other acitvities to enjoy such as swinging, climbing, making dens, sharing a story and bug hunting.
