Just a reminder that next Saturday, July 19, coffee and Cakes will be on sale at the Church between 10 am and 1 pm; proceeds to the Church.

There will also be a Yard Sale all day in Church Lane and all are welcome.

The progressive supper made £674 – not bad considering the awful weather!  Thanks to all who supported it.

In spite of the Wimbledon final and bad weather, (who needs Wimbledon when there is a paper aeroplane competition?), Surlingham’s Marie Curie tea party raised £155 for Marie Curie Cancer Care.  Many thanks to all those who supported the event (and to Karen Francis for hosting).

Songs from the musicals in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust (see earlier post) is being organised by Surlingham student Izzy Pitman.   Izzy and the other performers are members of the leading youth theatre companies in Norfolk so the event is likely to be of a very high standard. Please come and support it.
