This week’s services and events

Dear All,

I’ve just come back from the Rockland St. Mary Christmas Tree Festival, which is well worth a visit! It will be open again in the morning (Sunday Dec 4th) with refreshments and stalls in the Barn from 10am to 4pm.

Our services on Sunday Dec 4th are 9.30am Communion at Claxton, 10.30am-12 Cafe Church in Rockland Parish Room and 11am Morning Prayer at Surlingham.

As the temperature continues to drop, why not drop in to Warm Welcome at the Barn? It’s open on Monday for refreshments, between 10am and 5pm.

On Wednesday (7th) Claxton Community Cafe will hold its Christmas celebration in Claxton Village Hall, continuing until the later time of 1pm.
Still at the Barn at 7.30pm looks at the theme of ‘angels’ as we continue on our spiritual journey through Advent. You’re welcome to join us in the Barn or on Zoom, using this link

NB Rockland Candlelit Carol service will be on Saturday Dec 17th at 5pm.

With all good wishes,

Christmas Trees and Fish Van

Just a quick note to say the Fish Van will be back tomorrow Thursday 1st Dec 2022 10am-2pm after a week off last week.

Also we will have our Christmas trees in from tomorrow. The official countdown has begun!…

We have also just received delivery of game, boar, venison, pork and even a special three bird game roast perfect for the big day and lots of different sausages as well as lots of chicken and we have had some more eggs delivered.

It is an ongoing thing, but our wonderful supplier is keeping us topped up as and when they can with fresh eggs so do keep an eye out.

Have a wonderful week 🙂
