This has been a very challenging month for everyone and in the blink of an eye it’s Spring! Hence we are marking it with a Spring Fair tomorrow at the Patisserie just in time to get a special gift for Mother’s Day.

First, a big thank you to everyone who supported last Saturday’s Lent Lunch in the Barn. You’re welcome to drop in between 12 Noon and 3pm today (Saturday 19th) for homemade soup and scones, bread and cheese and good company! We’re supporting this year’s Diocesan Lent Appeal for Sag Sag Health Health Centre in Papua New Guinea.
This Sunday’s services (20th) are 9.30am Family Worship at Claxton and 11am Communion at Kirby Bedon. You’re welcome to drop in at Cafe Church in Rockland Parish Room between 10.30am and 12 Noon for refreshments, activities, and worship on the them of ‘Blessed be the Peacemaker’. We continue to pray for an end to the conflict in Ukraine and for the safety and future of its people.

On Thursday evening the Group Lent Course comes to the Margaret Mack Room in Rockland for a shared meal and talk by Dr. Mary Fewster on Prayer. All are welcome, and all proceeds will support YWAM, a charity led by young Christians bringing humanitarian support to Ukraine.
Next Sunday (27th) is Mothering Sunday, and we will be holding special services at Rockland (9.30am), Surlingham (10am) and Bramerton (11am).
