Dear All,.
I hope you are keeping well.

Tomorrow’s Art Cafe features Carl Larrson: Family Artist. At the end of the nineteenth century, Larrson and his wife created an iconic Swedish style that is still enjoyed globally. I hope you’ll be able to join us then.

TRY SAILING THIS SUMMER (Suitable for 15 years and over)

Coldham Hall Sailing Club will hold Try Sailing sessions to introduce you to sailing. These will give you the opportunity to get on the water, experience sailing, improve your ability and help you decide about future sailing.

There will be two on-line theory sessions on Thursday 10 and 17 June, at 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Six practical sessions on the water will follow on Thursday 24 June and the five Thursdays in July, all running from 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm.  We shall use dinghies, keel-boats and yachts on the River Yare.

Click here to complete the application form available on our club website, and send to Ian Barker (email address is on the form).

Also, we shall hold a “Push the Boat Out” open day on Sunday 27 June from 1.30 pm
Come along to the clubhouse and enjoy a short sail and chat with members.

The Ferry House

Our kitchen is still open everyday between 11am and 6pm for takeaways or outside dining.

From 17th May it looks on track that we can welcome you inside again so give us a call on 01508 538659 to reserve a table.

Just to let you know, it’s now 2 years since we had our defibrillator installed and time for the pads to be replaced. New ones have been ordered so it’ll be good to go for another 2 years. We’re very pleased we’ve not had to use it, but are immensely relieved to have it to hand.

Best wishes

Sonia and the team at The Ferry House

This week at Teles Patisserie

Boooom! And that’s another week done and dusted! And what a cracking week it was! Great atmosphere here at the patisserie as usual! It’s great to see everyone enjoying themselves with us or collecting yumminess to treat themselves at home… thank you!

And thank you to everyone that specially today had patience with Ana as she has had side effects after having her Covid vaccine. On this note, we’d like to let everyone know that we will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday so that she can recover. See you Thursday which is fish van day at Yare Valley Farm Shop.

And in the meantime, we will share the weekend take away menu too along with other options that we are studying either to have in or to enjoy at the comfort of your home.

Golf balls – please read

Apologies for the moaning message, but we’ve had a lot of golf balls being hit into our field behind the Green and Mill Rd.

This needs to stop as it could cause a massive incident at the potato factory with tonnes of food wastage and a £10000 fine. So please could whoever is doing this stop.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hope you all have a nice bank holiday weekend.

Will Mack
