We will be open today 10.00 to 5.00 as in every bank holiday.
This week we need a rest to recharge batteries so we will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday but back to normal on Thursday!

What’s happening next week…
The closure notice of the boardwalk expired on 1 August 2019. Norfolk County Council have confirmed that due to a legal issue over the position of the right of way this work is programmed for the autumn.
The boardwalk is in a dangerous state if you do use it please take care.
A Parish Councillor has placed sandbags on the riverside footpath, where the river has washed the permissive path away. That path is safer for walkers.
The Parish Council invite expressions of interest from those interested in being co-opted to the Parish Council. The Appointment will take place at the Parish Council meeting on 17 September 2019.

Qualifications to be a Councillor
A person is qualified to be elected and to be a councillor if they are a British, Commonwealth, Irish or European Union citizen and on the 17 September 2019, they are 18 or over.
In addition, the person must meet at least one of the following criteria;
(1) on the 17 September 2019 and thereafter they continue to be on the electoral register for the parish, or
(2) during the whole of the twelve months before 17 September 2019 they have owned or tenanted land or premises in the parish, or
(3) during the whole of the twelve months before 17 September 2019 their principal or only place of work has been in the parish, or
(4) during the whole of the twelve months before that day 17 September 2019 they have resided in the parish or within three miles of it.
Except for qualification (1), these qualifications then continue for the full 4 year term of office, until the next ordinary elections (May 2023).
Certain people are disqualified from standing, and these include paid officers (including the Clerks) of the council, bankrupts and those subject to recent sentences of imprisonment
