Many thanks for your generous donations at last year’s Carol Service. The magnificent total of £261.60 was collected in aid of the Norwich charity St Martin’s Housing Trust whose mission is to prevent homelessness by offering a hand up in housing, support and care to the most vulnerable people in our community.

Gritting
You can check which roads are on the council’s gritting routes for the 2018/19 season on the map here. On the same map people can find the locations of around 1,900 grit bins in the county that are filled by the County Council and which the public can use on public pavements, cycle paths and roads.
Reporting a highways defect
You can report here anonymously, or you can register. If you register you will receive an enquiry number and regular updates on the steps taken to resolve the problem.
If you want to contact Vic Thomson about a highway problem, he will need the enquiry number to be able to effectively chase it on your behalf.
Parish Election candidate information
A candidate briefing will be provided on the 11 February 2019 at 6.30pm in the Council Chamber at South Norfolk Council Offices, Cygnet Court, Long Stratton, to book a space please email by 30 January 2019, confirming what capacity you will be standing either as a District and/ or Parish candidate at the Elections in May 2019.

Nomination papers have been amended recently to include a page about home addresses. Please ensure you are using the latest papers from the electoral commission website.
