Are you a community group looking for funding?
South Norfolk Council has Community Action Fund grants available from £1,000-£15,000 to support projects and initiatives that benefit local people.
Last year the Council funded a range of projects including play equipment at Breckland Park in Costessey, an automatic watering system at Wortwell Bowls Club and a trailer for Norfolk Knights Wheelchair Rugby Team.
If you would like to apply for funding, please contact your local district councillor, who will apply to the Community Action Fund for you.
The next Community Action Fund panel will be held on Thursday 31 May.

Please come along to a charity quiz at The Ferry on Friday April 27th at 8pm. Entry is free but there will be a raffle and collection for East Anglian Children’s Hospices’ (EACH) new hospice, ‘the nook’, at Framingham Earl. (See end of post for more about the nook **.)
You don’t have to be a serious quizzer to join in – there will be plenty of time to chat in-between rounds. Either come as a team or we can find you a team on the night. This time we would like to limit team size to six people please, as it makes it fairer. Also, we would ask that YOU FINISH EATING BY 8PM. And if you are not eating please could you arrive a little before 8pm. We may rearrange the seating slightly for the quiz so that everyone can sit in their teams comfortably and hear the quiz master.
