Would you pay more council tax to help fund policing in Norfolk? That is the question being posed by the county’s Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC).

Along with other PCCs, The Police Commissioner has been lobbying central government to look again at police funding and lift the council tax limit above the 2% maximum. This would allow PCCs more flexibility to set council tax levels in response to funding challenges and local policing needs.

the last Introduction to Buddhist Meditation class of 2017 will be held on Wednesday 13th, here at Padmaloka (first driveway on the right as you come into The Covey).  Arrive from 19:00 for a 19:30 start.

Everyone is welcome, whether you have meditated before or not, the class will be fully accessible to complete beginners. Feel free to invite your friends along. Under 18’s should be accompanied by a parent or designated guardian.

There will be a suggested donation of £5 with all proceeds donated to the Ted Ellis Trust. There’s no need to book, simply turn up on the night. If you have any questions you can phone us: 01508 538112 or email us: info@padmaloka.org.uk

P.s. If you are unable to make these classes, would like to take it further or would like something more regular, then do visit the Norwich Buddhist Centre, as they offer a full programme of regular classes for all levels.

The 85 bus service is on a list of buses that are being looked at in the 2018/19 budget as a subsidised service and are asking for feedback from individuals/organisations that could be affected if there are cuts made.  Click here for the consultation document.
