October at The Patisserie
Hello everyone! October is here and we are now having some changes in the menu and on our more cosy drinks (unique pumpkin latte on the way…).
So we shall continue with the Saturday Evening Meals (a week tomorrow we will have Portuguese Paella!). So don’t wait to book!
From tomorrow onwards Saturdays and Sundays lunchtime we are having more options including the Portuguese Bitoque which is Steak and Fries and Charcuterie Boards – no booking is required.
Don’t forget that on the 19th is the Dog Photo Shoot Day 2025!
Whatever you do, love the ones that love you and support small businesses when you can.
See you all very soon!

Surlingham Food Bank – Here for Everyone
You’ll find the food bank tucked in the left-hand corner of the car park, just behind the entrance at Surlingham Village Hall.
It’s there for anyone in our village who needs it—please help yourself to whatever will be useful.
If you’re able to donate, the council is always grateful for non-perishable items. Tinned goods, pasta, rice, and other dried foods are especially appreciated and go quickly.
Thank you for your support.

Community Orchard session – Sunday Sept 28 – 2-4pm
This will probably be the last session this year, depending on weather, so we’ll be tackling invasive brambles and hopefully harvesting some apples. Everyone’s welcome – gardening gloves, secateurs, fork/spade would be useful. If you’d like more information please ring 538791.
