A cat has been reported missing from Ferry Corner. Otis was last seen in the late afternoon of Wednesday 3rd August.

It would be lovely to see as many people as possible attend the services in our beautiful Church. Sunday 28th August is a family service suitable for everyone and anyone 😊

The Parish Coucil has signed a letting agreement with Saprientia and insured the field for use by the community out of school hours until dusk all year round. Details are on the sign by the gate.

There may be times when the field is unavailable e.g when the football club are using the field under their own agreement.

Dogs are not allowed on the field and please take your litter home.

The ‘what-3-Words’ location identifier for the Emergency services ‘THRUSTERS.SCANS.PROFILED’ is on the sign.

Contact 01508 537151 to arrange to collect the key and please return it promptly after use ensuring the field is secure.

Helen filmed this week’s service video in the Rectory Garden – just in time to catch a few welcome drops of rain! You can watch it here

This Sunday we’re gathering at Hellington Church at 11am for Summer Worship, followed by a picnic if you’d like to join us afterwards! Parking is available by kind permission of the Crown Point estate on a grass field opposite and slightly downhill from Hellington church’s entrance. Please be aware of uneven surface and park in the flat area nearest to the road.

On the following Sunday (Aug 4th) we’re celebrating 9.30am Communion at Claxton and 11am Morning Worship at Carleton St. Peter.

The latest Eleven Says will be distributed soon with details of other August services and activities, including Carleton’s Royal Events Flower Festival on August 13th and 14th.
