A few of us are going to try some descants/ other voices as part of the congregation at the Surlingham Church carol service on Dec 22nd at 3.30pm.  We are going to meet on Thursday 12th December at 2.30pm in to have a run through beforehand.  If you’d like to join us – the standard will not be high and you are welcome even just to hold the tune for us –  please text 07748186511 or use CONTACT US. If there is enough interest we could attempt the Bramerton and Rockland and services too but these are on Dec 15th.

… a cracking start to the Christmas season. 

Those of you who didn’t make it this weekend to the first Bramrocks’ panto since lockdown missed a treat! 

All the panto essentials  were there – the Dame, the handsome prince, the good  fairy and the bad one and the sharp modern script was delivered with excellent comic timing with every possible opportunity for audience participation fully exploited. 

Old and young had a good time making it a true community event. So watch out for next year’s production! 

The shop is full to the brim with goodies and Trees are here ready for the weekend and beyond!

Another Festive Season is just round the corner and we have prepared an amazing December.

Starting on the First of December with our first ever Santa Paws. Just come down to us with your doggie dressed all festive and you might win a £40 gift!

December will also see the return of our wine tasting evening with several dates available.

We will come together to remember and celebrate the life of Danashura Dharmachari Maurice Wright at Padmaloka Retreat Centre on Friday 6th December.

He lived in Alpington, not far from Surlingham, and his family has lived in the area for many generations and so are well known in the area.

The programme for the day is as follows:

12:30pm Arrival Time

1:00pm Ceremony begins

                    Welcome and Introductions

                     Buddhist ritual – You are welcome to join in, or if you prefer not to you can listen.

2:00pm Short break

2:20pm Rejoicings

4:00pm Light Refreshments

5:00pm Departure
